Veggie-Guacamole Dogs!
Preparation & cooking time - 3 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1 pkg of “hot n’spicy VEGGIE DOGS” (made by “Yves Veggie Cuisine)
*IMPT: Read the label, as the packaging is almost idental to their regular veggie hotdogs!
1 perfectly ripened avocado, halved.
plastic jar (300ml ) of President’s Choice “Roasted Garlic Mayo” Sandwich Spread.
1 big flat round loaf of Portuguese cornbread (or other bread, if you can’t find it)
DIRECTIONS (to make 1 serving at a time):
1.Place 1 veggie dog on a plate and microwave on high for about 1 minute.
2.Place 2 long slices of corn bread in the toaster and toast until golden.
3.Spread garlic mayonnaise on slices of toasted cornbread.
4.Once cooked, remove veggie dog from microwave, slice lengthwise
5.And place the 2 halves on 1 slice of the cornbread toast.
6.Using a teaspoon, remove thin spoonfuls of avocado from it’s shell and place liberally atop the bottom half of the sandwich which you’ve already combined.
7.Place the other slice or cornbread toast on top.
8.It’s ready – fast and yummy!
